Would you like to interact with anyone? Better go elsewhere. People can like you, message you, etc. but you can interact with them in any way unless you pay. The most basic features of any sort of similar apps are locked behind a pay wall, though obviously this is not advertised. There are apparently 3 tiers of membership, but apparently the "bronze" or free version includes zero features. You need at least "silver" for basic features. Whatever the "gold" includes is beyond me.

Accessing visitors and likes before the match is indeed a premium feature, but no subscriptions or payments are required to chat with other users in the app. As soon as two users like each other on Discovery, they're both notified of the match and can start talking. Impossible to set a distance setting so more than half the profiles I'm shown are over 1000 miles away. And no matter what I do (other than buy premium I'm sure), the app will only show me the exact same list of people in the same order on repeat any time I use it, regardless of how I responded to their profile before. My own displayed location is way too specific - not just my suburb or township, but my neighborhood. Profiles are very limited outside of photos and the About Me section.

Hi Kacey! It is indeed possible to set a distance filter, but the algorithm will sometimes shuffle some of your incoming likes into Discovery, so you can like them back without premium. To prevent this, enable Stealth Mode. We'd also like to explain why you may see repeated profiles and help with your location—contact us at support@taimi.com! 💜

There's much better apps. Especially if you're afab/woman/enby and looking for those people as well. I've had the app for a year now, it's just getting worse and worse. They show you the same 100 people no matter how many times you swipe no. Even if you set your settings to a certain age and gender, you will primarily see men. Even extremely old men. It's really uncomfortable and I've had a lot of awful experiences with dating the people on this app. It's a hot mess; not worth the time or money.
